Mirrors of Landscape
From the 28th to the 30th July, SOWATORINI Landschaft is bringing to Marinaressa Gardens a playful landscape installation. Visitors are invited to experience the site specific work first hand and to join in the creative process.
Beneath the surface of the Marinaressa Gardens lie the ramps of the historic shipyard grounds. On this ground, the crowns of the pines lean impressively towards the water. On a small scale, it tells the story of this city: A struggle for balance!
For three days, the mirrors of landscape add a playful layer to this scenery. Dozens of mirrored boards (horizontal and inclined) put the crowns and the soil into a relationship. Playing and jumping from board to board. So it is (on this specific ground, under these specific crowns): A game of balance!
From the 28th to the 30th July, German-based studio SOWATORINI Landschaft is bringing to Marinaressa Gardens a playful landscape installation. They invite all visitors, especially the little ones, to experience their site specific work first hand and to join them in the creative process.
The landscape architecture studio was founded by Gianluca Torini and Sebastian Sowa. Their works focus on temporary formats at the interface to art, mainly created for private gardens and in public spaces; across all typologies and scales.
