Archi-Tectonics NYC
Dubbeldam founded Archi-Tectonics in 1994 and was joined in 2016 by partner Justin Korhammer. Dubbeldam is also Chair and Miller Professor of Architecture at Upenn. This dual role allows us to merge cutting-edge academic research and theory with real-world practicality. Archi-Tectonics had several international exhibits and 4 monographs were published; Princeton Press, 010, Daab, and the recent Strange Objects, New Solids and Massive Things by Actar Spain [2021]. Archi-Tectonics has been in leader in rethinking cities, and has designed non-standard buildings since 1994, through continuous prototyping, enabling us to disrupt the standards and limitations of conventional building production, and to generate highly customized, economic structures and material ecologies.
