Cité Arquitetura was founded by Celso Rayol and Fernando Costa at Rio de Janeiro in 2012. The main focus of its projects is to establish a relationship with context, be it through an interpretation of the surrounding landscape or through a dialogue with the neighborhood’s essence and day-to-day life. Among the studio’s works on display in the exhibition are Miguel Couto, shortlisted for the University of Ferrara’s Domus International Prize for Restoration and Conservation, and Highlight, winner at the 2020 Build Awards by the British publication BUILD Magazine. As a result of its work in the last decade, Cité won the Architect of the Year award at Destaques Ademi-RJ 2022 and had its trajectory published on Monolito #53, one of the greatest architecture publications in Latin America.
