After studying photography at the Merz Akademie in Stuttgart, Daniel Stauch moved to New York for three years, where he learned his professional craft from the fashion photographer Udo Spreitzenbarth, among others. He has lived back in Germany since 2005 and works internationally from here as an architectural and art photographer. In 2018, he opened Gallery Stauch—a convertible gallery in a former bathhouse in Stuttgart.
