ETH Zurich and Supsi

ETH Zurich is a public research university in Zürich, Switzerland. Established in 2009, the Block Research Group (BRG) at the Institute of Technology in Architecture at ETH Zurich is led by Prof. Dr. Philippe Block and Dr. Tom Van Mele. Research at the BRG focuses on structural analysis of historic masonry vaults, computational form finding, digital fabrication and construction technologies, specialising in unreinforced masonry and concrete shells.

The University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) is a professional university and one of nine Swiss universities of applied sciences (SUP) recognized by the Swiss Confederation. As a professional school, SUPSI is oriented towards professional training and applied research and according to the cantonal law it has four mandates: basic training, continuous training, applied research and services to the territory.
