Nicola Probst established his own professional practice in Lugano in 2002.
He studied architecture at Supsi in Lugano and at the University of California, Berkeley, where he received his Master of Architecture. He was an assistant at the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio and he is currently teaching architectural design at Supsi in Mendrisio. From 2017 he is in charge of the International Workshop between Supsi and Zhejiang University on architecture and sustainability.
