Penelas Architects is an international Architecture, Urban Design, and Master Planning office with a broad trajectory of over 30 years. Founded and directed by Dr. Architect José Luis Esteban Penelas (Chair of Architecture at UEM), the office is currently developing projects in Spain, the Netherlands, South America, and China. Projects range from urban design and master plans to museums, auditoriums, plazas, office buildings, housing units of all typologies, parks, schools, as well as the restoration of historical buildings. Their built work has been acknowledged at an international level, obtaining more than fifty architecture and urbanism prizes, and having been both featured and exhibited in the most prestigious publications, galleries, and architecture biennales around the world.
