Magda Mostafa is an Autism Design Consultant who works globally across different contexts and scales to help design better built environments for neurodiversity and autism. She is the author of the Autism ASPECTSS®️ Design Index, the world’s first research-based framework for designing for autism. Her work is the subject of studio instruction at architecture schools around the world, and there are ASPECTSS®️ designed buildings across 5 continents. Her work has been presented globally including at Harvard University’s GSD, Columbia University’s GSAPP, Yale University, the UN CRPD and the NAS in the UK. She recently published “The Autism Friendly Design Guide” with Dublin City University and presented “Autistic Imaginaries of Architectural Space” at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2021.
