School of Visual Arts is an urban art and design college offering baccalaureate and master’s degrees in a variety of visual arts disciplines in the heart of New York City. Alumni and faculty from the School of Visual Arts departments are recognized as the leaders in their various visual and creative arts industries that include advertising, animation, cartooning, computer art, graphic design, film, fine arts, illustration, interior design, photography, and video, visual & critical studies. The BFA Interior Design: Built Environments Department began over three decades ago with a faculty of interior designers and architects who inspire students to foster cultural and social change while challenging conventions in their designs.
