Semillas is a non-profit organization transforming rural communities in Peru, especially in the Amazon, through participatory architecture. Since 2014, it has developed research projects, collaborative workshops, and architectural designs that integrate sustainability and local knowledge. Its approach addresses social, economic, and ecological inequalities, fostering sustainable development. Internationally recognized, it has received awards such as the DIVIA – Diversity in Architecture 2023 and the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture 2018, highlighting its positive impact on communities.
