The Institute of Building Materials, Concrete Construction and Fire Safety (iBMB) is a research facility at the Technische Universität Braunschweig. Our research is dedicated to a sustainable and digitally controlled concrete construction in the 21st century. In the sense of a holistic approach, our research covers a broad spectrum, starting with resource-efficient ›eco-concrete‹, durability and repair of ›existing concrete‹ as well as digital construction processes through 3D concrete printing, i.e. ›digital concrete‹.
