Prof. Nadia Amoroso is an Associate Professor at the University of Guelph, Department of Landscape Architecture. She specializes in visual communication in landscape architecture, data visualization and creative mapping. She has written extensively on these subjects and has published a number of books, including “The Exposed City: Mapping the Urban Invisibles”, “Representing Landscapes: Digital”, and others. The School of Environmental Design and Rural Development (SEDRD) brings together major academic fields concerned with creating strong communities, in Canada and globally. Landscape architecture is one of those programs. Landscape architects aim to meet the needs of people while improving the environment.
