Time Space Existence, held at Palazzo Bembo, Palazzo Mora, and Palazzo Rossini, presented an extraordinary amalgamation of architects spanning six continents, each with diverse cultural backgrounds and at various stages of their careers. The exhibition featured both established architects and those whose works may be less known. Participants were invited to explore the fundamental concepts of Time, Space and Existence. The exhibition, through a variety of forms and media, documented the current developments in architecture, with each venue creating a unique atmosphere. Palazzo Bembo focused on solo presentations by architects and firms such as Peter Eisenman, Woha, Studio Razavi, and research projects from international universities like the University of Arkansas.
Palazzo Mora, with its distinctive Venetian features, showcased an impressive lineup of architects, firms, and universities within its grand spaces. Notable exhibits included the site-specific installation by Denise Scott Brown and presentations from the University of Sydney, Auckland, and MIT.
Palazzo Rossini featured a large presentation highlighting the work of GMP Architekten and the AAC Academy. Architects, with their profound impact on our environment and the way we experience our surroundings, shape our daily existence and leave a lasting mark on the Earth. This ‘mark’ often outlives the architect. By combining diverse thoughts and approaches, the exhibition aimed to enhance our awareness of our personal existence as human beings within a specific space and time.”
