Brian J. Mac, FAIA


Brian J. Mac, FAIA is the founder and principal architect of Birdseye’s architecture studio, an employee-owned architecture and building company in Richmond, VT, USA. Birdseye garners its design inspiration from the agrarian language of Northeastern America. The work represents traditions of craft and sustainability and reflects the artistic details of modern contemporary design.
Birdseye has developed a reputation for design excellence with over 40 design and firm awards, 100 publications, and participation in the 2018 and 2019 Venice Biennial, Time Space Existence and Personal Structures.
Mac is from Detroit, MI where he received his architecture degree from the University of Detroit. He was invested as an AIA Fellow and inducted into the New England Design Hall of Fame in 2018.
