Collectif Carré Noir

Collectif Carré Noir is a laboratory for experimentation in architecture and urban planning, based in Paris and Lyon. The members of the Collectif Carré Noir are architects and illustrators with diverse skills, particularly in the fields of heritage, architectural representation, and territorial approaches to projects.
Being particularly concerned with the social value of their profession, their projects are intended to be activist and committed to the preservation and expansion of the subtle relationships between citizens, living beings, the built environment, and the geological and landscape space within which they interact. The synergistic processes conceived over the long term are key to virtuous dynamics that serve humans and the common good.
