Taltech is in a leading position in technically oriented research, development, and innovation in Estonia. We conduct research in the fields of architecture, landscape architecture and urban studies in collaboration with the leading organisations in their field. We provide expert services for enterprises as well as the public sector, for example, cities, communities, and ministries in Estonia and abroad. Our research activities form an integrative platform for the engineering disciplines and centres of excellence at TalTech. Our research organisation is tuned to mission-oriented research. Our work produces added value to industry and to society. We lead the public discussion related to our expertise and present innovative ideas that address demographic, environmental and social challenges in Tallinn and in the Estonian society.
