VITTI Sthapati Brindo Ltd., led by Ishtiaque Zahir and Iqbal Habib, is a 100-member collective, blending architecture, planning, and design. For 34 years, it has shaped Bangladesh’s built environment, from intimate interventions to large-scale urban regeneration across public and private sectors. VITTI was searching recycled alternatives to traditional wooden boards and construction materials in an effort to align architecture with regenerative practices. In this pursuit, Repro Solutions developed a renewable material, which VITTI then transformed into a functional design. Through their combined efforts, demonstrate how innovation in material use and design can transform the built environment.
