Alketa Misja is an architect and photographer based in Albania. After years of teaching in University, in the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of Tirana, in the subjects of Urban Planning, her focus shifted to Photography, as a means to represent the land transformations in contemporary society. In 2021 she founded Tatì Space, a platform of Architecture and Urban Photography. For Alketa, photography constitutes a tool for investigating the various forms and outcomes of urban transformations. Her work has been recognized by international competitions, and she has participated in numerous exhibitions. Alketa has her private studio in Tirana, where she works on commission and personal photographic projects.
